May 24, 2024, Baler Convention Hall- The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) and the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) formalized a collaboration in livestock biotechnology research.
During the ASCOT Meet and Greet Gala event, Dr. Claro N. Mingala and Dr. Marvin A. Villanueva, representing PCC, joined ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes and Vice President for Administration, Planning, and Finance Dr. Oscar C. Barawid in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU outlines a series of joint research projects, including training workshops, lectures, symposiums, collaborative research initiatives, and technology exchange. This partnership aims to position ASCOT as a future leader in livestock biotechnology, equipping students and faculty with cutting-edge skills and knowledge.
