August 27, 2024- The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) and Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration in academic and research areas. This partnership, initiated during a recent PASUC meeting, aims to enhance higher education opportunities, advance scientific and technological innovations, and promote cultural exchange between the two institutions.The MOU will benefit undergraduate programs in business, engineering, social sciences, and research.
The agreement was signed by OMSC President Dr. Elbert C. Edaniol and ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, alongside their respective officials,Dr. Harold Q. Bautista, the Director of External Linkages and International Affairs at OMSC and Joseph T. Gonzales, Board Secretary V/ Director for International, External, and Alumni Services, and is expected to create new opportunities for students and staff at both colleges.
