July 3, 2024, ASCOT hosted a visit from Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) to adapt research findings under their ongoing memorandum of agreement for faculty upskill training.
Dr. Marcelo Bulalayao, Dean of NEUST’s College of Industrial Technology, Ms. Marites Combe, Area Chair of the Graduate School of CIT, and NEUST faculties T3 Salmos, Aldrich Dathaniel B. Marte, Medel E. Aloroy, Rodelio R. Pascual and Citadel B. Under the MOA, where NEUST acts as the host training institution and ASCOT as the guest trainee institution, this collaboration will integrate NEUST’s research into ASCOT’s educational framework. ASCOT’s School of Industrial Technology, led by Assoc. Prof. Annie R. Capin, along with research and extension coordinators and faculty members, engaged in fruitful discussions on implementing these findings. The meeting highlighted ASCOT’s strides in industrial technology and explored strategies to apply these advancements in curricula and industry practices.
