October 24, 2024, Bogor, Indonesia- Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) has strengthened its commitment to global academic partnerships with the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indonesia’s Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) University. The signing ceremony, held during ASCOT’s visit to IPB’s campus, establishes a formal collaboration aimed at enriching both institutions through joint research, academic exchanges, and resource sharing.
Leading the delegation, ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes emphasized the importance of this partnership in advancing educational opportunities for the ASCOT community. The MOU was signed by Prof. Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University, and witnessed by Joseph T. Gonzales, Board Secretary V and Director of International, External, and Alumni Services, along with Iskander Z. Siregar, Vice Rector for Global Connectivity, Collaboration, and Alumni. The agreement focuses on collaborative initiatives in key areas such as agricultural technology, sustainable development, and cultural exchange.
The partnership will offer ASCOT students and faculty new avenues for international exposure, allowing for expanded research capabilities and academic growth.
