
Under the agreement, ASCOT will provide technical and extension services in a beneficiary barangay, supporting livelihood, education, health, environmental conservation, infrastructure, and peace and order initiatives. The LGU will facilitate program implementation, encourage community participation, and provide essential research data.
During the signing, VP for Administration, Planning, and Finance Dr. Oscar C. Barawid, Jr. assured the community of ASCOT’s dedication, saying, “Ang ASCOT po ay committed dito sa Sitio Bulos, hindi po namin ito iiwan.” President Reyes also emphasized plans to support financially struggling students through food coupons, while Mayor Tolentino urged environmental preservation, saying, “Sana doon ay maiwasan na ang kaingin. Sa halip, taniman natin at alagaan ang kagubatan upang mapanitili itong maunlad at matiby para sa hinaharap.”
This collaboration aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, fostering resilient, inclusive, and environmentally responsible growth.
