Eduardo F. Macose, PhD, marked his 65th birthday and retirement. For nearly four decades, Engr. Macose has devoted himself to public service, shaping the lives of countless students and colleagues along the way.
Early Life and Education
Born in San Fernando, Pampanga, Engr. Macose’s journey began in the small town of Mucdol. His educational path took him from Mucdol Elementary School to Aurora Wesleyan High School, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Central Luzon State University. His thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there; he later earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Wesleyan University Philippines and a PhD in Organizational Development from the South East Asia Interdisciplinary Institute. This foundation not only equipped him with technical skills but also fostered a deep understanding of leadership and community engagement.
A Career Defined by Excellence
Engr. Macose’s career kicked off at the Department of Agriculture Regional Office IV, eventually leading him to various roles in local government before joining ASCOT in 1995 as Instructor I. His journey at ASCOT has been nothing short of transformative, as he climbed the ranks to become a Professor VI, making significant contributions to the institution’s growth and development. His leadership spanned multiple roles, including Director of Planning and Special Projects and Director for Extension and Training.
