ASCOT secures 30M SARO budget from DBM for FY 2022

To be able to implement the construction of the Teacher Education Building and conduct repairs to various facilities, the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) secured budgets amounting to 30,000,000.00 and 5,280,000.00 to be used in the purposes as mentioned earlier from the SARO (Special Allotment Release Order) released by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), January 24.

According to the College President, Dr. Eutiquio L. Rotaquio, Jr., the release of the respective budgets is due to the increase in enrollees in our College by more than 30% this academic year.

He also added that this fund would surely help achieve our institution’s goal of being a top-ranking educational institution in the country.

In a Facebook post published on the ASCOT Official FB Page, the College extended its heartfelt gratitude and sincerest appreciation to Senator Juan Edgardo “Sonny” M. Angara, Congressman Rommel Rico T. Angara, and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Regional Director Isabel C. Taguinod for their unwavering support to the College for the release of the SARO.

This opportunity will surely provide excellence to its students and other stakeholders by improving the facilities and other essential services that ASCOT will provide for the holistic development and progress of the province and the nation as a whole.
