This year’s ASCOT Faculty and Staff Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AFSMPC) General Assembly meeting was held at Carlito’s Inn on April 15, 2011. A total of 115 members gathered in the venue for a whole-day affair. The first part of the program was a lecture delivered by Mr. Alex N. Rotas from CDA, about cooperative policies. Also, supported by a BOD resolution, past AFSMPC management and officers were recognized for their valuable
contributions in the successful operation of the Coop.

The members of the Coop actively participated in the General Assembly meeting presided by Chairman Wilfredo N. Julio. This year, four BODs were elected as well as the three members each for Election Committee and Audit and Inventory Committee, respectively. Prizes were given to members who won in the raffle on which the first top three prizes were a flat-screen television set, a cellphone and a mountain bike.
