Novie Herminigildo pinned feathers to ASCOT Athletics team cap by garnering two gold medals (Long Jump and Triple Jump), silver (High Jump) and bronze (4×1 Medley relay) in the SCUAA 2010 held in BulSU on December 12-17.

Asking what made him to win the medals, he said, “Inspiration mula sa magulang ko at sa girlfriend ko at hindi mawawala ang determinasyon at tiwala sa sarili.”

Other medal snatchers were: Alvin Obedoza, Lean Gonzales and Paulo Rebueno bagging silver from 4×1 relay. Rebueno also got silver from 200m run. In addition, Obedoza, Joy dela Cruz, Gonzales, and Rebueno got bronze from Medley Relay.

Herminigildo will also represent ASCOT to the SUCs national game on March 6-11 in Ilagan, Isabela. (Glenn Balanag)
