ASCOT teams up with the Post Office, TESDA , DTI, PAGASA, NSO,DILG, RTC and BAS to form a formidable team for Aurora Day Sportfest 2014, in the celebration of Aurora Day themed “Kahandaan sa Pagbabago ng Panahon: Hamon sa Galing ng Aurora Ngayon” , the first time since 2011.

Seven teams battle it out for the championship trophies. Mint green team, one of the largest group which includes ASCOT, go up against other teams such as Peach Team (LGU-Baler) , Gray Team (LGU-Maria), Pink Team (LGU-Dinalungan) , Orange Team (composed of DPWH, NFA, AURELCO, DOST, UP,DAR, CSC,DENR , DBP,DSWD and CONG. office) , Black Team (PNP, BFP, LTO, PCA, NIA, PIA,DOH, NCIP, RED CROSS and DA) and Yellow Team (PGA team).

Leading the Mint Green campaign was Mr. John Ryan Abesamis (ASCOT instructor), after bagging the Badminton Men Championship beating Jason Atienza (black) and Philip Casao (yellow ) in the clash inside Sentro Battle. Another mint green hero, Lagda outplayed De Vera (gray) and Peras (pink) in the battle of the brains – chess .Green basketball team also ended up in a competitive 4th place finish.

The Awarding ceremony was held on Feb 17 (Monday) at the Capitol Grounds.
