Aiming to reinforce professional camaraderie and to update the Registrars on the emerging education reforms in the country, the Association of Registrars of Higher Education Institutions-Region III conducted a Seminar with the theme, “The Role of Registrars in the Emerging Philippine Education Reforms”, which was held last February 7, 2014 at Sports and Cultural Center, Angeles University Foundation, Angeles City.

The said activity was joined and participated by Ms. Flordeliza S. Gutierrez, ASCOT Registrar together with other University/College Registrars from HEIs in Region III.The seminar tackled the Fundamentals of Registrarship and the
Educational Reforms in the Philippines Basic and Higher Education Sectors.

Atty. Ulpiano “Ulan” P. Sarmiento, a recognize authority in the field of Education Law and Ms. Ma. Humilidad F. Claro, an expert in registrarship served as the resource speakers of the seminar.

The event also served as a venue to orient them on the role that they will serve relevant to the reforms and to keep them abreast with the current practices and technology pertinent to the said task.
