The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) proudly showcased ASCOTea, an innovative agri-based beverage, at the Agri-Innovation Forum 2025, held from March 19-21, 2025, at Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU).
Representing ASCOT, Engr. Marc Jervin B. Bitong served as the presenter, alongside Angelica D. Matusalem (Project Technical Assistant II) and Rubilyn S. Dela Cruz (Science Research Assistant). The product was developed by Kimberly F. Serrano, Sabrina V. Romantico, and Ymerson M. Vargas, with Engr. Bitong as the co-author. This innovation was made possible through ASCOT’s collaboration with Central Luzon State University (CLSU) under the ASCOT Research and Development Office – IPTBM Project.
With the theme “Sisidlan: Igniting Minds to Transform Agri-Aqua InnoVention,” the forum gathered researchers, industry experts, and students to explore sustainable solutions for the Agri-Aqua sector. ASCOT’s participation highlighted its commitment to innovation, research, and entrepreneurship, brewing a future of sustainable agricultural products—one cup at a time!
