March 19, 2025 – The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) Golden Stallions have once again asserted their dominance, clinching the championship title in the 1st Gov. Reynante Tolentino Football Tournament while competing under the name ISKWA-A.
Fresh from their strong performance at the SCUAA III Regional Games 2025, the Stallions brought their signature intensity to the pitch, defeating Dipaculao Football Club A. Competing in the 11-A-Side format—football’s standard full-field game with 11 players per team—they showcased exceptional teamwork, discipline, and endurance.
Led by captain Clark La Peña, the team delivered a stellar performance, with goalkeepers Andrei Hubahib and Franz Manzanillo anchoring a rock-solid defense, while Ivan Russel Valenzuela, Kirby Brenan Tagare, and Sean Paolo Pimentel spearheaded the attack.
Guided by head coach Mark John Alduz Suniega and assistant coach Mariel Marquez, the Stallions executed their strategy with precision, solidifying their reputation as a football powerhouse.
The name “Golden Stallions” was introduced by ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, inspired by the horses raised on campus, which symbolize strength, endurance, and the relentless spirit of ASCOT athletes.
Congratulations, ASCOT Golden Stallions!
