March 8, 2025 – To support the preservation of the ASCOT Estuary, Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) and Gamma Epsilon Pi Omicron Chapter planted 320 mangrove saplings as part of the fraternity’s 22nd-anniversary initiative, “Let’s Engage in the Rejuvenation of the Mangrove Community.”
The activity was joined by the Pi Omicron Alumni Chapter, led by President Ryan Bautista, Pi Omicron Residents, led by President Ian Angelo Saturno, and the Gamma Epsilon Alumni Council, represented by Melmar Bihasa.
With support from DENR CENRO, LGU Baler, Barangay Zabali community, the initiative brought together students, faculty, and local volunteers. The Baler Municipal Police Station, led by PMAJ Edgardo L. Javar, ensured smooth operations with officers PEMS Romar P. Dullas, PSSg Jeffrey A. Puyat, and Pat Eddie O. Amatorio.
This collaborative effort reinforces ASCOT’s commitment to environmental conservation, ensuring the estuary’s long-term sustainability.
