February 16, 2025 – The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) has received a valuable donation of industry-leading reading materials from Ms. Isa Q. Tan, editor of Asian Pork Magazine. The donation includes Asian Pork, Asian Poultry, and Asian Feed, all published by Asian Agribiz. These publications provide expert insights into commercial pig production, Asia’s poultry and meat industries, and livestock feed nutrition—critical knowledge for agriculture students and professionals.

Engr. Oscar C. Barawid Jr., PhD, Vice President for Administration, Planning and Finance,Ms. Mychell Buenconsejo Sanchez from the Human Resource Management Unit, accepted the materials on behalf of the college.

This donation will significantly benefit ASCOT’s agriculture students, equipping them with up-to-date industry knowledge and technical resources. It also aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), reinforcing ASCOT’s commitment to academic excellence and sustainable agricultural practices.
