March 21, 2025 – Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) continues to lead in sustainability, earning top marks in the Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Audit. Zabali Campus, Baler scored 90.2% (Grade A), while Bazal Campus , Maria Aurora achieved 87.2% (Grade B), reflecting ASCOT’s strong commitment to energy efficiency.
The audit assessed best practices in air conditioning use, optimized lighting, and strategic energy-saving measures. These high scores highlight the collective efforts of ASCOT’s administration, faculty, staff, and students in promoting sustainability.
President Dr. Renato G. Reyes commended the ASCOT community for this achievement, reinforcing the institution’s dedication to responsible energy management.
With these results, ASCOT sets a strong example in energy conservation for higher education institutions nationwide.
