ASCOT Athletes Honored in Victory Party, Rewarded for SCUAA Triumphs

March 7, 2025 – ASCOT athletes took center stage as they were honored for their outstanding performance in the SCUAA III Regional Games 2025 during a Victory Party hosted by ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes at Bulwagang Senator Edgardo J. Angara.

Recognizing their dedication and hard-earned victories, ASCOT awarded cash incentives to medalists as a token of appreciation for their efforts, in accordance with institutional guidelines. On top of this, Dr. Reyes personally provided additional incentives to the winning players as a further gesture of support and recognition.

Adding to the celebration, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ma Luz F. Cabatan shared cash incentives with the athletes as well, choosing to commemorate her birthday in a meaningful way by supporting student-athletes instead of hosting a party.

Also present were Sports and Development Office Director Mr. Jan Cristopher A. Salazar, Student Affairs and Services (SAAS) Director Ms. Alma Bayudan, and the coaches, who commended the athletes for their perseverance and commitment.

Dr. Reyes reminded the athletes that their success is more than just medals. “Success in sports is rewarding, but true greatness comes with humility and responsibility,” he said.

The event not only celebrated their achievements but also reinforced ASCOT’s dedication to supporting student-athletes, recognizing their resilience, teamwork, and unwavering spirit, in line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

Here’s to more victories ahead, ASCOTians!
