April 7, 2025 – The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) is proud to announce another academic milestone as the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. has officially confirmed the Level III Re-accredited status of several key programs at the ASCOT – School of Education. In addition, the AACCUP has approved the official change in nomenclature for these programs.

In a letter dated March 14, 2025, addressed to ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, AACCUP’s Board of Trustees approved the renaming of the programs.

With these nomenclature updates, the Level III Re-accreditation previously earned by the BSED Biological Science and BSED TLE programs has been successfully carried over to their new titles.

This advancement increases the total number of Level III accredited programs at ASCOT from one to two, now including:

✅ Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, Filipino, and Science
✅ Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics and ICT

Dr. Rowel G. Olila, Dean of the School of Education, expressed his thoughts on this achievement:
