This recognition underscores ASCOT’s unwavering commitment to high-quality teacher education, standing out among 1,553 public and private TEIs across the country. Awarded for its excellence in pre-service teacher education (secondary level), ASCOT has consistently met CHED’s quality assurance standards, achieved high accreditation ratings, and produced exceptional results in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).

Gracing the awarding ceremony, CHED Chairperson Hon. J. Prospero E. De Vera III commended the awardees, stating:
“You are the best universities in the country. Our message to the Filipino people, to parents out there and students: We want to be good, world-class teachers. Please enroll in this higher education institution.”

Likewise, Executive Secretary Hon. Lucas P. Bersamin emphasized,
“By all means, leadership in education is not just about administration; it is about inspiring change, fostering innovation, and setting examples for others to follow. This is the kind of leadership our schools need if we are to continue evolving and adapting to the challenges of our time. I encourage all of you to embrace the enormous responsibility of ensuring that our teachers are not only skilled but also compassionate and deeply committed to their students.”

Further reinforcing this message, Senator Hon. Sherwin ‘Win’ T. Gatchalian, Chair of the Senate Committee on Basic Education, highlighted the far-reaching impact of educators:
“Ang tagumpay ng bawat guro ay tagumpay ng bawat mag-aaral, at ang tagumpay ng bawat mag-aaral ay tagumpay ng buong bansa.”

Representing ASCOT in this milestone achievement was ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, accompanied by Dr. Ma. Luz F. Cabatan, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Rowel G. Olila, Dean of the School of Education; and Diana Rose de Mesa-Amazona, Head of the Information Unit.
