Prof. Lolita H. Dela Cruz, NSTP Director together with four NSTP Faculty, Dr. Marilyn R. Ora, Ms. Michelle A. Resueño, Ms. Cristelita A. Panlilio and Mr. Sufronio S. Dela Cruz currently participated in the 12th National Congress of NSTP Educators and Implementers conducted at the NSCC Plaza, Don Alejandro Quirolgico, Caoyan, Metro Vigan, Ilocos Sur last April 28-30, 2014.

Hon. James Mark Terry L. Ridon, Kabataan Party List Representative, addressed this year’s theme, “NSTP and NSRC in the Changing Times and Educational Landscape”.

The activity aimed to scale up the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values of NSTP Educators in the operation and management of the National Service Reserve Corps and to increased their capacity in training NSRC Reservists on disaster risk reduction and management. It was also set for them to appreciate the emerging thrusts and directions of NSTP and NSRC in the light of the K to 12 Program.

The three-day congress was packed with plenary sessions, sharing of experiences and best practices, team building, workshops, brainstorming and buzz sessions participated by NSTP Implementers around the country and was organized by the Philippine Society of Educators and Implementers, Inc.
